Road Force Balancing
The most precise balancing for a smooth, vibration-free ride
Road force balancing goes beyond standard spin balancing. Using a Hunter road force balancer, we press a load roller against the tire to simulate the weight of the road and measure the combined force variation of the tire and wheel together.
That lets us match-mount the tire to the wheel and pinpoint vibration that conventional balancing can miss — ideal for a stubborn steering-wheel shimmy or a ride that never feels quite smooth.

Road Force Balancing FAQs
- What is road force balancing?
- A load roller presses against the tire to simulate the weight of the road, measuring the combined force of the tire and wheel so we can pinpoint vibration standard balancing misses.
- How is it different from regular balancing?
- Standard spin balancing only corrects weight imbalance. Road force balancing also measures stiffness variation and lets us match-mount the tire to the wheel for the smoothest possible ride.
- Do I really need it?
- It’s ideal if you still feel a vibration or steering-wheel shimmy after a normal balance, or whenever you want the smoothest ride from a new set of tires.
- How long does it take?
- It takes a little longer than standard balancing — typically about an hour for a set of four.
