1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Clarendon Tire LLC ("Clarendon Tire," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 3237 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, Virginia 22201, and your use of our website at clarendontire.com.
By scheduling an appointment, purchasing tires or services, providing your contact information, signing up for text messages, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Offered
Clarendon Tire provides tire and automotive services, including:
- New tire sales, installation, and balancing
- Tire repair, rotation, and pressure checks
- Wheel alignment
- Oil changes and routine maintenance
- State inspections (when authorized)
- Other mechanical and non-mechanical services as offered at the shop
3. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows
You may schedule appointments online, by phone, or in person. Appointment times are estimates; actual service time may vary based on shop volume and the work required.
We appreciate at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you fail to appear for a scheduled appointment without notice, we reserve the right to require a deposit for future bookings.
We may need to reschedule your appointment if parts are unavailable, equipment is down, or unforeseen circumstances arise. We will notify you as soon as possible.
4. Estimates, Pricing & Payment
Estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may differ if additional work is required, and we will contact you for authorization before performing any work that exceeds the estimate.
Payment is due in full at the time services are completed unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, and other payment methods as offered at the shop.
Past-due balances may be subject to interest, collection costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees as permitted by Virginia law.
5. Warranties
Tire warranties are provided by the tire manufacturer, not by Clarendon Tire. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product. We will help you file a manufacturer warranty claim when applicable.
Workmanship warranty. We warrant our installation and repair work to be free from defects in workmanship for a reasonable period under normal use. Damage caused by abuse, neglect, accidents, road hazards, or unauthorized work by third parties is not covered.
Except as expressly stated, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Vehicle Pickup & Abandoned Vehicles
You are responsible for picking up your vehicle promptly after we notify you that service is complete. Vehicles left more than 7 days after notification may be subject to daily storage fees.
Vehicles abandoned for an extended period may be processed as abandoned property under Virginia law (Va. Code § 46.2-1200 et seq.), including the right to seek a mechanic's lien for unpaid services and storage charges.
7. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your vehicle and contact details.
- Remove personal items of value from your vehicle before service.
- Disclose known mechanical issues that could affect service or safety.
- Pay for services rendered as agreed.
8. SMS & Text Message Terms
8.1 Program Description
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, Clarendon Tire may send you text messages about your appointments, vehicle services, service reminders, review requests, and promotional offers.
8.2 Types of Messages
- Appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Service reminders (e.g., tire rotation, alignment, inspection due).
- Vehicle-ready notifications when your service is complete.
- Review requests after a completed service.
- Promotional and marketing messages about specials and seasonal offers — sent only if you opt in to marketing.
8.3 Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on your appointments and service history. Most customers receive no more than 4–8 messages per month.
8.4 Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Clarendon Tire is not responsible for any fees imposed by your carrier.
8.5 Opt Out, Help, and Opt Back In
- Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe from marketing messages. You will receive a confirmation message and no further marketing texts.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or email service@clarendontire.com or call (703) 524-7622.
- Reply START or contact us to opt back in after unsubscribing.
Opting out of marketing texts will not prevent you from receiving non-marketing service messages related to an active appointment or vehicle service.
8.6 No Phone Number Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for additional information.
8.7 Carriers
Carriers (including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service may not be available on all wireless carriers.
9. Phone Communications & Marketing Calls
We may call you about appointments, service updates, estimates, or promotions. To stop marketing calls, let us know in person, call (703) 524-7622, or email service@clarendontire.com. We will continue to call you about active services or where we are required by law to reach you.
10. Email Marketing
If you provide your email address and opt in, we may send you marketing emails about specials, promotions, and service reminders. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also unsubscribe by emailing service@clarendontire.com.
11. Reviews & Customer Feedback
After a completed service, we may invite you to share your experience by leaving a review on Google, Facebook, or other platforms. Participation is voluntary, and we do not offer compensation, discounts, or other incentives in exchange for positive reviews.
If you submit feedback or a testimonial directly to us, you grant Clarendon Tire a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish that feedback (including your first name and last initial, if provided) for marketing purposes, unless you tell us otherwise.
12. Website Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site.
- Scrape, copy, or republish content without our written permission.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on clarendontire.com — including logos, images, text, graphics, and design — is owned by Clarendon Tire LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may not use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Tire and product brand names appearing on the site are the trademarks of their respective owners.
14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by Virginia law, Clarendon Tire LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of our services or website.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Clarendon Tire LLC harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arlington County, Virginia, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at service@clarendontire.com to attempt to resolve the matter informally.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated to customers we have on file. Continued use of our services after the Effective Date means you accept the updated Terms.
